On Saturday Vince Lucas and I birded southern Florida south of Lake Okeechobee. We drove 351 miles and saw 70 species, including King Rail, Gull-billed Tern, Black Tern and Fulvous Whistling-Duck (all new Florida birds for me!) Here is an recap Vince wrote of our journey.

I am currently testing the version 4.0 DVD for Mac and Windows. This version is designed to run on Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6) as well as on Windows 7 and XP.

Apple released a new operating system called Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6) on August 28, 2009. Our birding software will not work on Snow Leopard. It is being updated to run on this new operating system.
