I have DVD Field Guides from www.betterbirdwatching.com. The DVD contains video/sound clips of birds. I would like to rip individual tracks from the DVD to use as My Media video in the Gold edition.

1. Can you recommend a software package that will rip tracks from a DVD? I have Nero and Windows Media Player, both of which will rip CDs but not DVDs.

2. What video formats can be used as My Media videos?
