The Science Olympiad has added Ornithology to the list for 2010. [Divisions B and C - Life, Personal & Social Sciences] The Science Olympiad National Bird List - 2010 is available from their web site. Here is a Custom List you may upload to your computer to test students on all 184 "Study Birds". In this Forum you will also find a second Custom List showing the 48 birds whose vocalizations will be on the test. UPLOAD THIS CUSTOM LIST TO YOUR COMPUTER: 1. Right-click on the word "Attachment" at the bottom of this post -- it will be a hyperlink and underlined. 2. Select "Save Target As..." and save to your desktop. (You may want to rename the file - but do not change the .xml file extension) 3. Open your Thayer Birding Software program 4. Click the Custom List icon 5. In the upper left corner of the Custom List screen, click on the word File. 6. Click Import. Select the file you just uploaded to your desktop. Click Open. 7. The Custom List will now appear on your computer with your other Custom Lists. (You may rename the Custom List if you like.) These instructions are for Microsoft's Internet Explorer. Other browsers may have slightly different names for the buttons you need to click.
