Here are the birds that appear on the Sapsucker Woods Sanctuary checklist of birds. This sanctuary is located in Ithaca, New York at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.

I was visiting there for two days earlier this week and picked up the checklist from the lobby. It took me about 40 minutes to create this Custom List and export it to this forum.

I started by going to the ID Wizard and selecting common birds of New York. Then I exported that as a Custom list. All this took about a minute. Then I edited the list by adding and deleting birds as necessary. That took about 35 minutes. It would have taken less time, but the checklist I picked up was a few years old and had birds in a slightly different taxonomic order. Then I exported the list and added it here -- that took about 2 minutes.

You might want to export a Custom List, as I just did, using checklists from your local birding Hot Spots, State Parks or National Wildlife Reserves.

Once you import this Custom List to your computer, you can take a quiz on the birds on this list, view them in a Photo Gallery or filter so you see just these birds in the eViewer.
