I might have overlooked this, but is it possible to import a "Bird I Saw" or "Custom" list ( e.g. from a comma-delimited  text file)? I would like to have my ABA list in my Thayer software, but I don't want to have to add each species by hand. If this is in the docuemntation and I missed it, I apologise for asking here.

You can easily export and import custom lists you create. In fact there is a special section of this Forum devoted just to that.

At the moment, I do not think there is a way to export a list in csv format and import it into the Thayer Birding Software program. But I will see if this is possible in a future version of the program.
