Version 3.9.1 is available as a free download.
Open your version 3.9.0 program and click Help in the Menu Bar.
Then click "Check for Updates"
The program will think for a few seconds and then tell you that an update is available. Download the update (this should take a few seconds) and then click Install.
NOW REPEAT - Open the program, click Help and click Check for Updates
The second time, the download will take about 30 seconds. After you install, you will see version 3.9.1 on the Splash Screen when you open the program. It will also appear when you click Help and then click "About eFieldGuide Viewer". It will look like this:
This free update fixes the Blackpoll Warbler song, fixes the screensaver program, adds a feature that lets you update sightings from version 3.0 and 3.1, fixes an installation problem encountered by some Windows 2000 users and fixes some other minor issues.
