I installed Birds of North America v3.9 and then checked for updates which I also installed (reads v3.9.1.0). I set it up as a minimum installation (i.e., use CD for using the program). When I re-insert the CD for viewing, the installation wizard appears and starts to run setup again rather than opening the main window. I am using Windows XP. If I abort the installation and click on the BNA icon on my desktop, the main window will open and I can use the program. I let the installation wizard run again to see what happens and instead of doing a complete installation it gives me the option of modify, repair, or uninstall the program. I checked repair and it did its thing. However, it still opens with the installation wizard ever time I insert the CD. What is wrong?
I sent the above problem to the help desk on Oct 13 and again on Oct 24 and as yet have not received a response. How long does it take for them to answer me?
