When Apple released the OS X 4.10.11 update in November, they made MAJOR changes to the Safari web browser. Their 4.10.11 update changed the Safari browser from version 2 to version 3. The new Leopard 10.5 also uses Safari 3.
The Thayer Macintosh Birds of North America was sent to production in November. It works fine on OS X systems that use Safari 2. In other words, it works fine on Mac 10.3.9 through 10.4.10.
We have been working on a free update to our birding software so that it will work with the new Mac 10.4.11. We hope to release this in a few days.
We will then start work on a Mac version that works with 10.5 and 10.5.1 "Leopard". |
