We posted the v3.9.3 update for Macintosh computers this afternoon. OS X 10.5 and 10.5.1 users ("Leopard") will now be able to run the Mac version of our software. Go to Get Help \| Free Downloads \| Mac 3.9.3 Update or look for the link on our home page. All Mac users should download and install this free update. It is 61 MB in size. Thanks for your patience.

I have downloaded the file but in the instructions txt that came with it I read: Note that this update should ONLY be run if you currently have v3.9.1 installed on Mac OS X 10.4.11 and the application does not startup properly. For any other scenario, please use the "Check for Updates" functionality within the eField Guide Viewer application. If I am able to open the field guide should I run the update? The word ONLY in all caps gives me pause!

All Mac users should download and install the v3.9.3 update, unless the install disk already says v3.9.1
