Old laptop finally died... Need to move my ver 3.0 (yes I know it's old!) to my new PC. Having moved it once before onto the laptop, knew I needed to contact you guys to get activation/license/??? to do this. All I want to do is reload frm the CD and run... What/Who do I do, talk with, ??? pls.

Just install v3.0 on an XP computer. Then go to Easy Registration and Activation. You no longer need to register or to create a password.

If you have a Vista computer, you will need to get version 3.9. You can order this from our online store. As a previous owner, you are entitled to a loyal-customer discount. During checkout, on the second page, enter W428 to get a 20% discount on any Thayer Birding Software program.

FYI: The new v3.9.5 was recently released. It correctly handles the import of sightings from v3.0.0.
