Are there plans to add any additional birds to your field guide. In particular I'm asking in reference to the Eurasian Collared-Dove and the Ringed Turtle-Dove. I have what appears to be a breading pair of the Eurasian Collared-Doves routinely showing up in my back yard with what sounds like several more in the area. I know neither species is native to the U.S., let alone Oklahoma where I am, but are becoming wider spread. I've attached a JPG photo, I'm still trying to get a good quality photo but so far these birds have been extremely shy.

Eurasian Collared-Dove has been on the CD for years. As this species expands, we will be adding it to more of the state CDs as well. This is already happening in version 3.6.

Ringed Turtle-Dove is not recognized as a species by the American Birding Association or the American Ornithologist's Union. It is considered a domesticated bird. We will not be adding it to the CD.

I did finally find the Eurasian Collared-Dove using the similar and related features to the Mourning Dove. Problem is I can not access it the efield guide either from the links provided or when searching by name. Guess I'll have to reload my CD to see if it will resolve this issue. Thanks!!

It sounds like you are searching for "Dove" and that you have the program set up to display: last name, first name.

The last name of this bird is "Collared-Dove". So try searching on C. Or set the list to sort taxonomically. It will be easier to find that way.

The Help file on the CD has an entire article on tips to help you find a "missing" bird.

Look under "Field Guide | If You Cannot Find a Bird"

I ended up uninstalling & re-installing the entire software package which fixed my problems accessing some birds. The Doves were just the first birds I noticed I was having troubles with.  Thanks
