Pete - I was a Mac beta tester who, unfortunately for the beta testing process, upgraded to Leopard just before the beta arrived. This, of course, meant that I was never able to run the beta. I just got the latest newsletter, and noticed the mention of the "loyal customer" discount for the upgrade to 3.9 ending on 12/31. What about those of us now using Leopard, for whom there is not currently a working version? Does the upgrade pricing even apply to current Windows v3.5 owners who want to switch to the Mac version? The 40% loyal customer discount (and the 20% procrastinator's discount -- for those with v2.5) is for Windows only. The Mac is currently available for a 20% discount - order at www.onlinenaturemall.com and type mac in the promotional code area (page 2 of checkout) All Mac beta testers are getting a free Mac -- these are being sent out on Monday. The v3.9.2 update for those running OS X 10.4.11 seems to work fine. For those with OS X 10.5.1 (Leopard) -- keep the CD and wait for us to create a "Fix" for this issue. Better yet -- if you have Leopard installed, wait for us to announce the solution -- it may require a new disk -- we are not sure yet. Stay tuned. We are working very hard on this. Pete

So, if I read this correctly, I'll be getting a free copy of the Mac version for being a beta tester? If that's the case, I owe you a big THANK YOU! That is very generous, especially given that the only information I was able to contribute to the beta test was "it doesn't seem to work with Leopard". Thanks again, and I look forward to the announcement of the Leopard-compatible version when it is ready. Rick

I sent your free Mac version 3.9.1 today. We will need your help in a few weeks when we start the testing on a Leopard version.

Leopard Users: If your Thayer Mac CD-ROM says v3.9.1, then you will need to download the free v3.9.3 update. If your CD-ROM says v3.9.3, then you are all set and do not need to do anything.
