I am not sure what you are trying to say. Sorry.
The Vista operating system required us to rewrite the entire program from the ground up. This took us well over 7 months to accomplish. There is no update for our software to go from version 3.5 to 3.9. The Vista operating system requires a completely new CD.
The Help files in version 3.5 have an extension of .hlp In Vista, the help files have an extension of .chm
You have a link to a Microsoft file that will allow .hlp files to be read on Vista computers. This file is not necessary, since our new v3.9 program includes the Help file as a .chm file. The same is true for the Birder's Handbook.
You can read the Help file directly from this web site.
We do not charge for minor updates. The new v3.9.4 is available now. Open your program, click Help and click Check for Updates. Download and install the file it finds. Then repeat this - the second download is a bit bigger. [Always check twice for updates -- when everything is current, the message will say that no updates are available.] |
