I recently lost a hard drive.  I had a complete backup of my documents and settings.  I am using window XP.  I reinstalled your software and did a data restore from my backup but have been unable to load my custom lists.  Where does your software store the custom lists?   Can I locate them and restore them so I do not have to recreate the list.?

The custom lists are stored in the application database which is usually located at “C:\Program Files\Thayer Birding Software\eViewer 3.9\Database\database.mdb”. If you don’t have the database file, then you would need to have done a backup using the eField Guide Viewer application and still have access to that file.

In other words, you either need the database file or a backup file to restore your custom lists. If all you backed up was My Documents and Settings and you didn’t do a backup using the eField Guide Viewer application and save it somewhere in My Documents and Settings, then you have lost the data.
