Hi, I recently installed version 3.9.4 on my Mac running Leopard. I upgraded from v3.1 on Windows XP.
I had been listening to various warbler calls on the PC, including the Blackburnian and Cape May warblers. Now when I try to listen to them, I don't hear much, just a very faint shadow of what it should sound like. I know my hearing is fine, I'm under 18 and can hear up to 19khz (Blackburnian is under 12khz).
I've also heard other recordings from the internet of the affected birds which I can hear perfectly, so it can't be my hardware. I can hear Cedar Waxwings and Blackpoll/Bay-breasted Warblers as well with the program. It must be be an isolated issue with the software. I haven't had the mac version of the program for long, so I don't know if other sounds are affected. Please advise.

    Thanks,
    Benjamin

We think there is a problem with 4-5 of the very high-pitched songs. We are contacting the Cornell Lab of Ornithology about this and will fix this with a free update in the near future.
