I believe that in the sightings function users should be able to add specific locations instead of default states. Currently you can add locations in a state but in the comments. I would like to keep my comments about what the birds were doing or comments about their plumage etc.

This sort of feature is available in Birder's Diary. Our listing program is just the basics. We highly recommend Birder's Diary for life lists and recordkeeping: North American Edition World Edition
