Get Help with Thayer Birding Software Programs Support Center

If you have questions about your Thayer Birding Software Program, this is the place to find an answer.

Frequently Asked Questions/Knowledgebase:

Whether you call it Questions & Answers, Frequently Asked Questions or Knowledgebase, this is the first place to look whenever you have a question about making the version 7.7 software work on your computer. FAQs for earlier versions have been discontinued, since version 7.7 is now available at no cost.

User’s Guide/Help Manual:

The User’s Guide is included with the program and is in electronic format. If you have a question about what the program actually does and how to make certain things happen, then this is the place to start! (Hint: Have fun… Just start clicking on things and see what happens! You will not break anything!)
To open the User’s Guide in either the Windows or Mac version of the software, follow these instructions:
Click Help in the Menu Bar and then click User’s Guide/Help Files.

YouTube Video Tutorials:

Think of these as personal guided tours. Each video covers one specific topic. You can see and hear how to make something great happen when using the program. These videos may take a minute to download on a slow Internet connection, so please be patient.

Free Updates to the Current Version:

If your version 7 software is not version 7.7, open your program and click Help. Then click Check for Updates. Do this TWICE. The current version of our software is version 7.7. If an update is available, download it, close the program and then install the free update. Now do this again. The second update is usually the larger of the two. If you have a very old version like 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5, free updates are no longer available. In the past there have been many free updates.

Newsletters:

Important news announcements are now being made available on our web site, rather than being sent out in an email.

Follow Us On Facebook:
