 Mac Users:
To get this free update, open your birding program and click the word eViewer in the Menu bar at the very top of the screen (just to the right of the Apple icon). Then click Check for Updates.

When you see a message saying that updates are available, click Yes. Then when you see a message saying that updates have been downloaded from Thayer Birding Software, click Install. Now close the program.

Open the program and repeat -- you need to do this twice.
(The second download takes much longer than the first. Please be aware that it will seem as if nothing is happening - there is no indication that it is downloading. Please be patient.)  You may need to close the program and then reopen it to see the changes.

User Tip: I think I may have not been waiting long enough for the last update to load, so I employed a Mac trick.  I left the loading in the background and went on to read my email and look at other websites.  A while later, I noticed the eBird bouncing in my Dock, so I clicked on it and the final update had loaded.  Then I just executed it and checked the version.  Perfect! Thanks again for a great system!  - Bob C.
