Ok, add me to the very, very small list who bought this product only to find out it won't run on my Windows Vista 64-bit operating system. I agree with a previous poster who stated that this SHOULD be posted on the software. Also, it would be nice if support were added!! Dave H

We posted notices on this web site and on the online store that this version will not work on 64-bit computers. If you have a specific page where you think we should place this notice, please let me know.

At the moment, a 64-bit version is a "back-burner" issue.

You don't need to release a separate 64-bit version, any properly programmed 32-bit Vista program will run without problems on the 64-bit version of Vista. Just fix the bad coding in the current version.

I cetainly wish that were true!!

Our programmer has told me it is a bit more complicated than that, but he has not done a great deal of research yet (I told him not to -- we have other projects in the works that need to be finished first).

Not being a programmer myself, I have to take his word for it. If any of you out there are programmers, I would love to hear from you about the code differences and what is actually involved in creating code that will run on 64-bit computers. If it is really a no-brainer, I want to know that sooner rather than later!

Pete,

It really is true. BNA is one of the (very) few recently developed 32 bit programs I have seen that do not run correctly on my computer with 64 bit Windows. The other ones that won't run are all very old. Almost every recent program I have seen works. They may not use all the advantages of running on a 64 bit OS but they run perfectly fine in 32 bits mode on the 64 bit Windows.

Before I started my current job as an IT manager 5 years ago I was a programmer for 15 years, I am not just making this up

Hello Pete- Please add me to the list of people who have a Vista 64bit computer. I really love your software and miss being able to use it on my laptop. Would it be possible to contact me in the future when the issue is resolved? Missing your software. Katherine

The 64-bit issue has been moved to the front burner.

I will let you know through the eNewsletter when it is available or at least let you know the progress we are making.
