v3.9 - Show Only Birds of One State or One Family
Problem: How can I see just the common birds of one state or province. Can I see just the birds of one family -- like the Warblers?
Solution: With Guide to Birds of North America, you can use the Filter to do both!
Open the program and click View and then click "Filters..." in the Menu Bar. Or just click the funnel icon to the right of the bird's name. When a filter has been selected, the funnel turns red and the filter name appears at the bottom of the screen along with the number of species being displayed.
In version 3.5 and earlier, click Filter in the Menu Bar at the top of the screen.
You may filter in many ways: Selecting State or Province will show you the birds for the location you choose. You may see all birds or just the common birds. Selecting Family will show you the different bird families. Selecting Custom List will show you special lists you have created.
To show all birds again, return to Filter on the Menu Bar and click "None" or "Turn Off Filter".
