I See A Funky Image - Program Will Not Open

Problem: After installing the program, I click on the desktop icon. All I see is a psychedelic-like image. The program will not open.

Solution: You have a VERY old computer!! You have the color settings set at 256 colors. The program will not run properly at this setting!

Right click on your desktop (away from any icon). A box will appear. Left click the word "Properties". Now click the Settings Tab.

The Color Quality section will show that you have your computer set to display 256 colors. You must change this to something highter. 16-bit, 24-bit or 32-bit would all be acceptable. Click on the new setting and then click OK. At this point you will probably see a message telling you that the computer needs to be restarted to accept this new color setting.

Once you restart your computer, the program should open.

A 256 color setting was typical in 1995. Today 16 million colors is the norm.
