v3.1 - Register Without An Internet Connection

Problem: Version 3.0 and version 3.1 required that you register within 30 days. Versions 3.5 and higher do not require you to register.

Solution: If you still have the old version 3.0 or 3.1, you can download a small program that makes registering unnecessary. Visit our web site and download the free program that will eliminate the need to register. Easy Registration & Activation on our web site.

Of course, you can still register the old way: Registering via the Internet is the fastest and easiest way to register your software on each computer. But there are many other choices. For each choice, you will need your 16-digit license code and your password (a password YOU make up).

Register via the phone: Just before calling, open the program on your computer and go to the Registration Wizard. Follow the instructions there to register via the phone. At the end of the wizard you will see two User ID numbers that are 7-9 digits long. We will need you to read these two numbers to us when you call. Leave the Wizard open to this spot. We will tell you the authorization code you need to enter to complete the registration.

Now call 800-865-2473 (Monday through Friday 9:30am - 4:30pm eastern time) and say "I want to register my software". We will first ask you for your 16-digit license key. Then say "I have the two User ID numbers for you." After you give us those two numbers, we will tell you your authorization code. Type this into the box on your computer screen and click Next. The program will then say "Success." You are now registered on this computer.

If you do NOT see "Register by Phone" as one of your choices, you may have version 3.0.0 or 3.0.1.

Register via the Mail: Open the Registration Wizard and follow the instructions for registering via the mail. At the end of the Wizard, you will see a letter (click the magnifying glass icon to enlarge the type). Print out this letter and mail it to:

We will send you a letter back with your authorization code and instructions. Do NOT run the Registration Wizard again until you hear from us. If you do, the authorization code we send you will not work.

Register via email: If you have email, you should be able to register via the Internet. But firewalls may prevent this.

To register via email, follow the instructions in the Registration Wizard. We will then email you your authorization code. Do NOT run the Regisration Wizard again until you hear from us.

Register From A Remote Location: You or a friend may be able to contact us from your workplace in order to register a computer at your home. At home, follow the instructions for registering via the phone or by mail. Get the two User ID numbers from the computer where you are installing the software. Then call us (800-865-2473) from work with the 16-digit license code and the two User ID numbers. We will give you the authorization code. Go home and enter the authorization code to complete the registration process.
