v3.9 - This Version Will Not Install On My 64-bit Computer
Problem: The v3.9 CD-ROM does not work on my 64-bit computer - I get an error about "Throwing a Type exception". What should I do now? How do I know if I have a 64-bit computer?
Solution: If you have a Vista 64-bit Operating System, you should install the program on your computer. Then download and install the free 64-bit update from our web site. Go to www.Thayerbirding.com, place you mouse over the Get Help tab and scroll down to the Free Downloads section. Then click on 64-bit Computer Update and follow the insructions.To check to see if you are running a 32-bit Operating System or a 64-bit Operating System:
click Start (circle in lower left of your screen)
click Control Panel
click System and Maintenance
click System
Then look in the System section for the System type
